Tourism is a blessing for the inhabitants of Pirovac, because they finance their lives mainly through olive growing, fishing and guests from abroad. Nevertheless, the small fishing village is idyllic and not overrun by classic mass tourism. An outpatient clinic and a pharmacy provide basic medical care, and the neighboring villages offer additional medical facilities.
TRAVEL TO PIROVAC BY CAR POSSIBLE
From Germany you can travel to Croatia and to the house Dora by your own car. Parking is available in the courtyard and on the side of the house. The travel time is about eight hours when leaving from Munich. The A1 freeway leads in the immediate vicinity of the small fishing village, about 20 kilometers must then be covered via a country road. Directly in the center of the village there are several supermarkets for a first purchase, pastries and rolls are available in the local bakery. Discover culinary specialties in the small restaurants typical for Croatia, the so-called "Konoba", of which the village offers several.
For culinary specialties and snacks, a variety of stores are available throughout the resort. So nothing stands in the way of a relaxing vacation.
